Kingfishers
Hello, my name is Miss Hopkins and I am delighted to be the new Kingfishers teacher. I was lucky enough to complete my first teacher training placement at South Kilvington so I am very excited to continue supporting the development of academically, spiritually, socially and emotionally well-rounded individuals.
I am a newly qualified teacher with fresh experience in all subject areas and a variety of year groups and needs. I am enthusiastic about high quality teaching and learning as well as creating an inclusive, nurturing and supportive environment for all children, whilst maintaining consistently high expectations of myself, colleagues and pupils.
I have a creative background, so I am extremely passionate about pupils expressing themselves through art and design and I have always loved dance so look forward to incorporating this into Drumba and PE lessons. My classroom will give all children the chance to thrive amongst their peers and be celebrated throughout their learning journey.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, boyfriend and two labradors! In my spare time I enjoy painting, sewing and drawing, as well as taking weekly ballet classes.
